Topics/Essays for Students: Importance of Cleanliness; Mufawad |
“ الطُّÙ‡ُورُ Ø´َØ·ْرُ الإِيمَانِ"
Today, when the elders and stakeholders of my village have gathered to discuss the developmental works done or yet be undertaken in my village, I will try to shed the light on the importance of cleanliness in our lives.
Cleanliness is not merely a habit; it is a reflection of what we are, it defines our respect for ourselves, our communities, and the village or city we inhabit.
In our daily lives, cleanliness forms the architecture of order. It is not just an aesthetic preference; it shows our commitment to the environment.
When we embrace cleanliness, we start to move on a journey of self-respect. A clean environment helps to develop a healthy mindset, providing the fertile ground for creativity and productivity to flourish.
Cleanliness keeps us safe from diseases and death. During Covid19, we saw how whole world focussed on cleanliness and how it was important to safeguard us against the virus.
Cleanliness I believe, is a commitment to sustainability and clean environment,
As we have seen all the heroes from our history have given utmost thrust on cleanliness, be it Mahatma Gandhi, be it Rabindranath Tagore or be it Sir Syed Ahmad Khan. Taking cue from that, our Govt under the leadership of Mr. Narendra Modi also took many steps to ensured cleanliness and enhance living standard in Cities and villages across the country e.g Swatch Bharat Abiyaan, Swathchta Hi Seva Abhiyaan.
On this special Occasion of…………………., I request my villagers and guests to please stand up and take oath of cleanliness,
Chief Patron of my school, I humbly request to all to stand up and raise our hands and say:
- We will follow 3 Rs

- We will reuse clothes, bags again and again
- We will help recycle metals, plastics
- We will not litter
- We will not use polythene, single use plastics
- We will spend 10 minutes every day cleaning our surroundings
- We will plant more and more trees
Thank You
I will conclude my speech with a Shayar, It is
