Topic/Essay for Students: My Role Model

Honourable Principal, Respected Teachers and My dear Friends. Greetings to all of you. Today I will speak on My Role Model and what I learn from him.

We all know the world has produced many heroes which have stirred revolutions in the field of politics, science, literature and others. People may have different role models depending upon their tastes and vision for life. My role model is someone whose name got ingrained in the annals of history for his courage, bravery and love for his nation.

My role model is Captain Vikram Batra. The values which I learnt from Captain Vikram Batra are:

1. Courage: Captain Batra displayed great courage during Kargil War. We should always show courage in life.

2. Sacrifice: While rescuing an injured friend, Captain Vikram Batra demonstrated the value of selflessness and sacrifice.

3. Determination: Captain Batra's determination to achieve his goals, both in the military and in life, is inspiring. We can adopt such values in our studies.

4. Patriotism: His dedication to protecting India is a reminder of the importance of patriotism and serving one's nation. We should be patriotic and stop corruption.

5. Never Give Up Attitude: His famous phrase "Yeh Dil Maange More" reflects his optimistic spirit and never give up attitude. This attitude of always striving for more and not giving up in the face of challenges is a valuable lesson for us students.

In essence, Captain Vikram Batra’s legacy serves as a powerful reminder that these values can lead to not only personal success but also the betterment of society and the nation as a whole.
